The machine shop provides design consultation, precision machining, and fitting and assembly, all on both prototypes and custom-designed parts. We work with a broad range of polymer and metal materials and state-of-the-art machine tools. Our goal is to support faculty and student research within the University of Toronto’s Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, the wider University community, and the University affiliated research hospitals.
