NovemberSome Faculties offer a Fall session reading week, although SGS regulations do not require this. For example, the Faculty of Arts and Science Fall session reading week takes place from November 6 to 10. To find out if your Faculty has a reading week, please contact them directly.
Thu, November 30Payment deadline to avoid service charges on unpaid Winter (January to April) session tuition and non-tuition fees for students registered in the Fall and Winter sessions, except for those who have successfully registered without payment because they are receiving Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) or other government loans, a full funding package via a research stipend, a major award or scholarship, teaching assistantships, tuition waiver, and/or sponsorships. Monthly service charges will begin accruing on December 15.
Fri, December 15Recommended tuition fee payment deadline for all tuition fees billed for the 2023 tax year (Winter 2023, Summer 2023, and Fall 2023) for students who want eligible 2023 tuition fee payments to be reported on the 2023 calendar T2202 tax certificate, available for students to view and print on ACORN on February 21, 2024

Wednesday, August 4

6:00 a.m. Registered MIE students may enrol in Fall and Winter courses on ACORN.

Thursday, September 2

M.Eng, PhD Flex students and research students out of the funded cohort are encouraged to pay tuition fees to ensure registration is processed by September 16, and to avoid cancellation of registration and course enrolment.

  • Allow three days for payment to appear on ROSI.

MASC/PhD students in the funded cohort should attempt to register without payment on ACORN - report any issues to the Grad Office.

Deadline to request November convocation for all degree students.

  • This deadline is one week before the School of Graduate Studies' deadline.
  • MASC students who submit their thesis and have clearance form approved by Grad Office by this date will avoid Fall fees.
