Professor Dionne M. Aleman

Area of Research

Professor Aleman's research interests are focused on optimization of the delivery of healthcare services; most recently, she has focused on developing methods for optimizing intensity modulated radiation therapy to destroy tumors while minimizing damage to healthy tissue.

Optimization in radiation therapy treatment planning, medical applications of operations research; Global and nonlinear optimization methods.
