You will not want to miss Graduate Research Days 2023 (GRD2023) from February 23 to February 25, 2023. GRD2023 is a unique opportunity to experience what U of T Engineering can offer you as a graduate student and connect you with potential supervisors in your field of study.

Graduate Research Days 2023 is a wonderful way to have all your questions addressed about what Canada’s top engineering school can offer. This will be an opportunity for you to connect with current students, faculty, and staff to get an in-depth understanding of how U of T Engineering can support you in your journey.

Lian LengLian completed her MASc and PhD in mechanical engineering at U of T with Professor Axel Guenther in the Guenther Lab – Fluidic Microprocessors for Life & Material Sciences. Her thesis work made headlines across Canada when she developed a 3D printer that generates sheets of skin grown from a patient’s own skin cells. The device won the James Dyson Award for Canada and a Grand Challenges Canada grant. Lian is now a Project Manager at Galderma. |

The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering will need to know of your interest by Monday, January 9, 2023. To do so please:
Complete the U of T School of Graduate Studies (SGS) Online Application, and pay the $125 application fee. Please note, applicants who apply to MIE and get an invitation to GRD will have the application fee reimbursed.
