Conference Room Wireless Projector

The MIE Conference Rooms (MC331 and MB101) are equipped with NEC Projectors that support wireless connection from laptop computers, projection to audience laptops, sharing of presentation files and multiple presenters. To use the wireless features, the NEC Image Express Utility software needs to be installed on the laptops.

If the Image Express software is not installed, video cables available in the rooms can still be used to project your presentations. Also, please note that while using the wireless projectors, wireless Internet will not be available. If Internet access is needed during the presentation, use a wired connection.

Click on the link corresponding to your laptop operating system to download and install the NEC Image Express Utility software:

• For Windows Vista or Windows 7
• For Windows XP
• For Mac OS X (Intel processor)

After installing the software, bring the laptop to a Conference Room (MC331 or MB101) to test the connection. The procedure is simple:

• Open the Image Express Utility software.
• Select Easy Connection from the list of available network connections.
• Select the NEC projector and click Connect

The laptop screen should be projected after a short delay.
