We have already implemented several anti-spam tools on the MIE mail server, which already block or filter thousands of junk e-mails every day. It is nearly impossible for the filters to be 100% effective without risking losing legitimate e-mails.
The MIE server labels suspicious junk mail by adding the keyword "JUNK:" to the Subject line of messages that match the filters. You can use the tools provided by your e-mail software to separate those messages out of your Inbox, for example into a "junk" folder. We do not recommend to delete those messages automatically - you should check the "junk" folder ocassionally to make sure no legitimate e-mails got junked by mistake.
You can also try installing commercially available anti-spam software on your computers.
