Welcome to the Master of Engineering Program at the University of Toronto in the Department of Engineering! Please join us for a orientation and networking event hosted by the Department to help you get acquainted with your program and begin building a network of students and professors to support you during your time with us.

4:00 pm-5:00 pm: MEng Welcome BBQ
Location: Bahen Patio – 40 St. George Street
Hosted by the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, for incoming MEng students only. Vegetarian and Halal options will be provided. Please notify us of additional dietary requirements.
5:10 pm-6:30 pm: Welcome and program orientation
Location: Myhal building (MY) Room 150 – 55 St George St
Attendance will be taken at the door.
Following a welcome from our academic director (Prof. David Sinton), our graduate program administrator (Celeste Francis Esteves) will explain your responsibilities as a student and offer tips and resources for staying on track and maintaining satisfactory standing.
6:30 pm-8:00 pm: Network-building event
Location: Myhal building (MY) Room 150 – 55 St George St
Connect with your fellow MEng students! Attendees will cycle through groups of 4 and have the opportunity to get to know each other, ask questions and share contact information.
