Alumni, industry clients and friends of the MIE department are invited to the 2019 MIE Capstone Design Showcase & Chair’s Reception to celebrate the student projects that were created as a result of our Capstone program.

The Capstone program is an opportunity for fourth-year undergraduate students to work on design projects that meet specific client needs. The students work in teams to address real-world problems presented by our industry partners. This showcase is the culmination of the program where students display their projects and prototypes.

Guests will be able to learn more about our students’ innovative design projects, as well as network with alumni, industry and faculty members, at this special reception hosted by Professor Markus Bussmann, Chair of the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering.

The winners for the best projects will also be announced during the reception. Refreshments will be provided.

Traditional Land Acknowledgement

We wish to acknowledge this land on which the University of Toronto operates.
