Wednesday, March 25, 2026
3:00pm-4:00pm

GB 120
Galbraith Building

MIE437 is excited to host Prof. Cheryl Quenneville (McMaster University) for a special research talk on Injury Biomechanics.

In this talk, Prof. Quenneville will discuss research spanning a wide range of injury biomechanics topics – from preventing bone fractures in older adults through improved diagnosis, to developing injury criteria for explosive blast scenarios.

Are you an undergraduate student interested in exploring research areas in mechanical engineering? This is a great opportunity to learn how biomechanics and engineering principles are applied to solve real-world injury prevention problems.

📅 Date: March 25
Time: 3:00 – 4:00 PM
📍 Location: GB120

All interested students are welcome!
