DR. SANJEEV CHANDRA graduated with a B.Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Kanpur) in 1981, an M.S. from Vanderbilt University in 1983, and a Ph.D. from Cornell University in 1990, all in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as an engine test and design engineer at the Eicher Research Center in India from 1983-1985. In 1990, he joined the department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at University of Toronto as an Assistant Professor, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests are in the area of sprays and droplets, including thermal spray deposition, spray cooling of hot surfaces, and dynamics of droplet impact on solid surfaces. |
