Below are a number of flow rate waveform shapes of use in prescribing boundary conditions for CFD models. Click on any one of these to obtain a list of Fourier coefficients, Ak and Bk, k=0..N, where Q(t)/Qmean = Ak*cos(2pi*k*t/T) + Bk*sin(2pi*k*t/T), Qmean is the cycle-averaged flow rate and T is the period of the cardiac cycle. Each file lists the number of harmonics, N, followed by the k=0..N harmonics (col1 = Ak, col2 = Bk), and then a reference to the original source for the waveform shape.
