Some main areas of improvement will be:


1. Water Filter

• Replaced with higher flow unit

2. Fridge

• New maintenance policy – items MUST be labeled or will be thrown out daily

3. Coffee

• Department will provide a Tassimo Machine and coffee, tea, and hot chocolate packets

4. Kettles

• Current kettles will be replaced with new stainless steel kettles to avoid plastic leaching

5. Wiring

• Circuits will be arranged so as not to blow fuses

6. Cabinets/Woodwork

• Will be cleaned properly and refinished

7. Kitchenette area

• Replaced with Granite
• A new sink will be installed
• A dish soap dispenser will be installed

8. Microwaves

• Will be mounted in wall cabinets above current location with storage
• Counter below microwave will accommodate coffee machine

9. Furniture

• Installation of 2 round tables, with a 6 chair capacity
• Installation of couches and individual chairs, end tables and coffee tables – please click “here” to see a sample of the furniture.
• A television will be installed

10. Flooring/Walls

• Current flooring will be replaced with porcelain tile
• Walls will be repainted
