MIE Banner Contest: Round 2

Contest updates

The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering has opened the Banner Contest up for a second round!

The competition is now open to undergraduate, graduate students and researchers in the MIE Department. Please see the details below - including new design guidelines on what the committee is looking for.

Design a winning banner for the Mechanical Engineering Building and win $500!

The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering is excited to announce a design competition to create a large scale banner the side of the Mechanical Engineering Building (see photo below for banner location). We are looking to you, our creative and talented students, to be the artistic directors and to provide us with your original designs.

The banner design should be an organic representation of the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department, community, and rich program history. Your design, if chosen, will be made into a 40 ft (W) by 20 ft (H) banner that will hang on the side of the MC building year round. Your design will be seen by the tens of thousands of people who pass through the St George Campus every day. There is also a $500 cash prize for the winning design!
