For two decades, the Liberty Entertainment Group lead by President and CEO, Nick Di Donato, has been redefining Toronto's nightlife experience. Recognized as one of the most successful and innovative companies in its industry, the Liberty Entertainment is known for developing an impressive roster of unique venues including, Phoenix Concert Theatre, Tattoo Rock Parlour, Velvet Underground, Rosewater, Spice Route, Ciao Wine Bar, Courthouse and C Lounge.

The jewel of the Liberty Group properties is the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex. Designated as a historic landmark under the Ontario Heritage Act, the Ontario Government Building in the western sector of Exhibition Place was extensively restored and transformed into an extraordinary private and corporate event space. In 2010, Liberty Entertainment opened its first venue outside of Canada, the Coral Gables Country Club, located in Miami, Florida. Cibo Wine Bar later opened in Miami in 2011.

In recognition of Mr. Di Donato's outstanding contribution to the development and representation of the restaurant industry he has received:

• Toronto's Construction Association "Best of the Best" Award
• Foodservice & Hospitality Magazine's Pinnacle Award for "Entrepreneur of the Year"
• Ontario's Trillium Award for "Restaurateur of the Year"
• Toronto Night Club "Lifetime Achievement" Award
• Bartenders Ball "Lifetime Achievement" Award

Mr. Di Donato was also awarded the Business Recognition Award for his tremendous achievement and contributions to the economic prosperity of Toronto. He serves on numerous boards, including Invest Toronto, Toronto Museum Project, Mayors Economic Competitiveness Advisory Committee, Toronto City Summit Committee and the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario.
